Two teenagers are in custody after a police pursuit involving a stolen car in St. Mary's County, police said.Maryland State Police said troopers tried to initiate a traffic stop involving a black Kia Rio early Monday morning on Willows Road. State police said the car was reported stolen by the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office.State police said the car fled but that troopers later found it on Maryland Route 5 near Mattapany Road. A trooper deployed stop sticks in the road, which the car ran over and subsequently rear-ended the trooper's marked patrol vehicle.The driver, a 14-year-old boy, and a passenger, a 15-year-old boy, were flown to a hospital. The severity of their injuries was not immediately released.No other injuries were reported. An investigation continues.
