Japan may consider sending its military to conduct minesweeping activities in the Strait of Hormuz, a key passage for global oil supplies, if a ceasefire is established in the ongoing U.S.-Israeli conflict involving Iran, Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi said on Sunday.
